It was in 1972 that my association with Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan started. Subsequently
I became a Council Member of Bhavan’s organization. The then Executive secretary
Mr.Ramakrishnan became a close friend of mine and hence my involvement with Bhavan’s
activities kept on increasing. Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan was already running a school
at Andheri in Mumbai. Bhavans entrusted me with the responsibility for constructing
additional new buildings for Andheri School. I enjoyed doing this work very much.
I also got myself involved in the progress of Andheri school. Today the Bhavan’s
school at Andheri has become a land mark educational institution.

I was given a new responsibility by Bhavans
to start a school at Nadiad. It was in 1997 that I met Shri Jayaramdas Patel, the
chairman of the world famous Kidney Hospital at Nadiad. The indomitable spirit of
Shri Jayarambhai was a big encouragement to me.
